Do we know any players in the last 20 years that Traore remind us of?
I have to go back 30 years to Minor and Morton. He made that one move last night that was as good as I've seen from somebody 6'7 in quite a while.

And he's getting better every game. Rebounds, defends, blocks shots, leads the break. Truly impressive and I hope we can keep him around another year.

Not so much with Morton or Minor who both were good 3 point shooters and Traore is not. It's hard to think of a former Cards player like him but I'm sure there is. He has that spin move he uses a lot and sometimes it looks spectacular.

He plays hard and is a great rebounder. He's one of many players over the years whose game isn't best suited for his height. If he was 6'8 he could be a NBA draft pick.

IDK, he seems raw to me. no other past card really fits that bill. Great effort, decent skill...seems to be the calling card of this team, save for a couple of guys that are next level. He could definitely be next level in time.

I'm not trying to make a physical comparison of players but Traore reminds me of the 1st season of Preston Knowles and early Russ Smith because when we first saw these guys, they seem to go twice as fast as the rest of the team. Its like their athleticism didn't fit the offense we were trying to run. I do think there's a high ceiling for Traore but he has to do it within the offense and not go offscript because we have already learned hero ball = zero ball. We want all 5 guys on the same page. That's the secret sauce.

He is definitely a little raw. Some were talking like he has guard skills with the ball. Gotta say I haven't seen that. He can defend against a guard I think but his ball handling is not on a guard level , at least at this level..

Jerome Harmon, played one year (1989), 6’ 4” guard. In addition little like Lancaster Gordon.
Not close to the skill of Jerome Harmon, he is one of the best skilled athletes to ever suit up here. His off court issues and attitude doomed his career or he would've been a long time NBA player.
