He can throw a bunch of comments out there that slam UK. And ... given how he was the guy thrown under the bus when he left there in 2014, he could have some honest reasons to want to do so. (As an aside, kinda interesting that this also parallels Brohm's experience at U of L).
His record is very good at Troy, and he has won some pretty big ball games -- at LSU specifically.
I don't know if he'll really be our next coach. But frankly, his ability to "win the presser" is the easiest of any potential new hire, because the bar is pretty low .... Slam your new in-state rival several times, and throw a bunch of red meat to the die hard Card fans.
I like several other guys before I would personally go this route. But we could do worse than Brown. He's won big for 3 straight years. That shows he can recruit to his system, and teach it too. Something that's been missing here lately.
