Is that we are 2-4 against a schedule that consists of:

1 G5 school
1 FCS school
4 Power5 schools

with 4 home games, one neutral site game and one true road game. The teams we have faced in the first half of the season are 18-15 (55% winning pct) on the season.

The second half of the season, we face 6 Power5 schools, 3 at home and 3 on the road, with a combined record of 27-8 (84%).

In other words, we could improve quite a bit in the second half of the season while still finishing the last six games with the exact same 2-4 record as we did in the first half of the season.

Sheesh.

Or worse.

At some point we will win a P5 game. Just don't know when. Could be next year, but I hope with continued improvement it will be Wake on Oct 27.

You see two more wins this year?

I think we are looking at 2-10 or maybe 3-9 with 1 upset win along the way. This year is toast.

In CFB of today.....you have a chance to win every time you take the field.
It may be slim but you have a chance. Otherwise, with a 'we are going to lose attitude' you might as well forfeit and not play at all and say you did. o_O

I would rather go down in defeat swinging and competing than taking the losers way out and just quitting...but that is just me. Then the chips fall where they may.

I’m with you, Nayo. We’ve got a chance to win Saturday. Let’s go get us done Iggles!

No, I see one more win, unless we improve quite a bit, which sometimes happens with Petrino teams with young QB’s (see 2003, 2005 and 2015).

I'm going to do my very best to stay optimistic. Hoping for a break out team performance tomorrow and a win over Boston College!

Go CARDS!!!

I like the optimism but bad football is ugly. This team has no organization. The coaching sucks ass this year.
