Haven’t been exactly overwhelming. The biggest news was made by Jack Harlow with his F*#k UK remark. I wasn’t able to attend so does anyone have a particular view on how things looked? Was it disappointing or is everyone staying quiet for some other reason? The reporting from the Curious Journal was that the crowd and the enthusiasm was waning by the time the slam dunk contest was getting underway.

1st rule of Cardinal fandom 2022: the Courier lost relevance years ago and they have not been supportive of the Cardinals since the Bingham family owned the paper. Their allegiance is elsewhere

i watched online. the stage looked nice. but the event was very hectic and noisy. player intros were cool.
Zane won the 3 point contest. Kamari shot well too.
dunk contest was 3 rounds. players couldn't complete the dunks and did layups.

Which is why I was seeking more info from others on this board. There just hasn’t been much chatter or buzz about the event.

Layups in a dunk contest? Don’t like the sound of that!

they might have got a little tired at the dunk contest.
the good news is that El Ellis and JJ Traynor looked strong at the Red and White Scrimmage. Traynor has really improved. completely different player.

JJ has a wealth of talent; he is thin and needs to add upper body strength ……. his time under Mack was wasted. Payne appears to have recognized just how much he can contribute.
