Lunardi has updated his latest bracketology, and he has moved UofL down to the 3 line in the Midwest bracket.

1 seed Kansas
2 seed Arizona
3 seed Louisville
4 seed Notre Dame

He has the Cards playing Bucknell whom I'm not all that concerned about, but the second game would probably be against Wisconsin which is a concern because of their style of play. Get past the Badgers, and then a sweet sixteen match up against Arizona would be very sweet indeed, with a shot at Kansas in the Elite 8 if everyone holds serve.

I'm liking it. :D

Are we playing in Indy even if we're a 3 seed?

You're going to have to make free throws against Wisconsin.

Yes. Still in Indy.
What about us? I'll be the first to admit I have no clue how these first round sites go. From what I've gathered teams from different sides of the bracket can play in the same early round city?

Sure you guys will be in Indy also, but in a different bracket.

Joking but sort of not- UofL will probably have to go through any of Pitino's former assistants in the early rounds, then a definite match up with Richard Pitino and Minnesota (I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them try to maneuver the first father vs. son NCAAT matchup), then of course a UofL vs. UK rematch as well. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Lunardi has the Cards as a 3 seed with a possibility of playing Wake Forest in the second round. Unless I'm mistaken I don't think that is permissible. conference opponents can't meet till the round of 16. More likely the Cards would take the 3 seed occupied by Baylor in the region where UNC is the 1. They could move that bracket to Indy and the one Lunardi has the Cards in to Tulsa. This could set up a Pitino-Pitino matchup in the second round in Indy and then a showdown with UK in the round of 16.

Regardless it seems Lunardi rarely gets the Card's seed correct.
