From what I'm hearing from multiple sources is that Kiner called the staff and thanked them for recruiting him but a virtual visit to another school has sealed the deal and he won't be committing to Louisville.
My guess is that school is LSU.
This came out of nowhere. He had a commitment date set for July 4th. The staff had a great virtual meeting with him on Sunday. Then he has a virtual tour of a school he hasn't visited and decides to shut things down in the middle of a pandemic shutdown. Keep in mind that he visited Lousiville four times and was on great terms with the coaches.
I'm assuming that Louisville will keep recruiting throughout the process. The staff has a great relationship with both him and his high school coach.
