How often do you visit the KKK website? No.
Because it's a website. On, wait for it...the internet.
It's on the internet. Do you think you could say whatever you wanted to say because it is so neutral?
Let's give it a try together, OK?

You're debating an irrelevant point... Can you post here? Technically speaking, yes, at least at this time.No.

SHOULD you post here? That's another matter, and best answered with other questions...
Do you like it?
Do you want your opinion respected, and do you receive that?
Do you add value?
Do you have anything important to say?
If you don't get "yes" to most of those questions, you're probably wasting yours and our time.
"Elite program", my a$$...
If we're talking brain surgery as an alternative, I wholeheartedly agree. But if it's important enough for you to come here and post three thousand times, the questions above have some basis.pretty sure posting on anyone's message board is just a way to waste time.

Well the key to any good debate is a third party who is unbiased. Otherwise the debate goes nowhere.
There is a dismal view of humanity.pretty sure posting on anyone's message board is just a way to waste time.
There is some serious self-awareness, lol.I question the 3000 number. I mean It feels like a thousand posts in 4 years... but I dont think I've been over here enough for 3000.
There is a dismal view of humanity.
Check out that class. You need it.
Not to mention a balanced perspective.I offer my services to mediate this debate. My credentials as a UK fan are impeccable and I am well liked on this board.
I've had hostage negotiation training which might be more appropriate in the near future considering the frustration some of the visitors are having over being rejected in their search for approval from their rivals fan base .Not to mention a balanced perspective.
homer's my choice.

You don't like it? Leave. This is a LOUISVILLE board. You are not going to spew your malicious hatred of UofL here. What part of "this is a Louisville board" don't you understand?Oh, hell.
You can't really think we're worried about if they like us or not.
When Rafters slows down, this was supposed to be another outlet to talk hoops. Louisville will always be an interest of UK fans. Just as UK will always be an interest of U of L fans.
The point in all of this was one guy posted "I don't care if you come here as long as you're respectful."
But that's consistently not true. They consistently talk to us like dogs, while preaching this message of respect us.
I give Zipp all of the credit in the world for telling it like it is. The rest of you are just blowing hot air.
Oh, hell.

I find it funny that comes from Zipp. The one poster here as bad as any UK fan on the Rafters. I dont think Zipp has ever made a post without a UK insult in it.
To my recollection, Zipp doesn't throw out blind insults of UK. He gives his opinions which are normally based in reality - if anything, his behavior is akin to a debate team who is assigned a side of an argument. In his case, his side is that UK isn't very good - and he does a good job backing it up. I've gone back and forth with him on many subjects (and he has always been respectful) and don't recall any childish insults. There are plenty of posters in both fanbases who obviously lack the intellectual prowess to carry on an adult conversation, but zipp is not one of those people.
Shadow, that's really the point - they do understand and that's the only reason they're (I would say excluding JohnKBA) here - to pick at a scab. They won't come out and say it because they know that's a sure ban, so they play the angle "but I'm respectful", but all the while the only intention is to try and wallow in Louisville's misery. Also, and I don't see how so many Uk fans don't understand, this is a VERY trying time as a UofL fan right now. Nerves are frayed and frustrations are at an all time high.
So this is not your run of the mill middle of the conference season time of year. Tensions are running very high and most other Uk fans just can't seem to understand why most of us don't want to see a ton of them over here taking over threads, interjecting their opinions about what UofL/Pitino/Jurich/Players/The Fans should be doing, etc. I mean if the situations were reversed I sure as heck would not go over to their forum and do the same as many of them have.

So even being the super respectful person that you are - you got sat down in your first 25 posts? That seems really odd - guess it was just another example of hyper sensitive mods overstepping their authority.Well, that's just not correct.
I've been coming here off and on for a couple of years now. I was here a month or 2 back before Steelers decided a needed a timeout.
There is no playing an angle. One of your posters said they didn't care if we were here if we were respectful. So, I've pointed out that most of us are.
If you just hate us and don't want us here, don't act like our actions matter.

I don't hate anyone - particularly anonymous internet posters as that would be particularly silly. Even more silly is your consistent refusal to understand things that are being explained you in the most rudimentary of ways. Just for perspective, I spent about 2 minutes on your site and found a kentucky fan / poster being insulted when he - in the most respectful of manners - didn't agree that Pitino was a scumbag. Multiple posters told him (about 750 posts to his credit) that he was a "uavel troll" and that he needed to get off of "their board and go back to the Tard site".
I can't even imagine the response if a Louisville fan had gone there and respectfully posted something positive about Pitino. Oh wait a minute, yes I could...
I'm sure you have got the message loud and clear yet you keep coming back sounding unfulfilled that you can't find someone to like you.Oh, hell.
You can't really think we're worried about if they like us or not.

It is an awful moment, watching UK fans pour in while we endure what shadow pointed out.
It's a really, really bad look. Nothing will change that. You guys screwed up on your timing. You want to relish our pain.
This isn't even hard. Interestingly, it merely confirms opinions of your fan base long suspected if not fully known. You guys are mostly dipshts.
Thanks BP/Shadow - I've done my best to act like a guest should, glad you guys have seen it that way as well. I rarely post on Rafters, and when I do it's usually to call out a stupid UK fan for saying something stupid (which happens a lot over there.) The primary reason I don't like Rafters is that it's inundated with the worst part of the fanbase. The U of L Scout board is similar. This board seems to have the highest percentage of fans who are capable of a good conversation.
If you're a UK fan on this board, following a few simple guidelines will make your stay pleasant and lengthy;
- Don't be a douche
- Don't expect to have your back patted - you wouldn't go to a right wing christian board and expect people to high five you for being pro choice
- Pick and choose who you engage - there are some here who get a rise out of frustrating UK fans, let them have their fun with someone else
- Keep it above board - talking about specific games or players factually and respectfully is fine, but don't bring up scandals - we have plenty of skeletons in our closet too
That's pretty good but you haven't seen the one of senore looking in a bull's butt that was on the scout board.Cats 192 - lol
