Syracuse at Louisville

Like what the offense is trying to do. You can tell they have been working on it. They need to head and shot fake a little so the opponent isn't sure what to expect.

Need someone other than Curry to make the 3 if we're going to take quick ones.

I’ve jinxed them … 17 points in those first 5 minutes, but now just 6 more in the next 11. Cards-Orange now tied at 23.

Ugh! I hate to keep calling out the same players but Juffermanns is just not ready for this level of basketball. I mean how poor must the other two freshman front court players be not to play before her?

Again, she’s a FR. She does some things well and the gets a bit nervous. I think the game, overall, is still moving too quickly for her. Same can be said for Randolph. Passing on the offensive side must improve. Along with passing up easy shots and then trying to make a tough pass resulting in a TO.

Good start to the second half! Jada with 3 straight 3’s and have opened up a 10 point lead, Woolley (Cuse leading scorer) is now injured.

Cards up 54-39. Really liking the way Jaleah Williams is playing lately. She’s got some great moves with the dribble, and she works very hard on the defensive end.

Cuse ended the 3rd on a 12-5 run to cut UofL’s lead to 8 (59-51). Woolley is back in for the Cuse and making an impact.

Amazing how unfocused and I hate to say it, dumb the Cards are playing in this 4th quarter. They're about to choke this game away.

It's so frustrating to watch because it should be easy to correct.

Well, she's here to play basketball and Coach Walz is depending on her when he puts her in. I know she's trying but she looks like she's unsure of herself.

Are the two other freshmen "bigs" redshirting?

Cards grind it out and win by 10. Both Harris and Williams notch double-doubles, with Williams also getting 7 assists.

Cuse may be 7-10, but they’ve played some very tough teams. Maryland (ranked 8th), Albany is 15-3, Creighton is 14-3, Notre Dame (3rd ranked), and FSU (14-4).

Unless the NCAA changes the rule for basketball, the only redshirt Hardy and Imfadon could get is a medical redshirt. Both of them are currently under the 30% threshold (9 games) for a medical redshirt, with Hardy having played 8 and Imfadon 6.

Without a medical reason, you cannot play any games during the season and earn a redshirt year in basketball - though it’s been proposed to implement a 33% (10 games) or less limit, similar to football.

I didn't realize both had played that many games. I haven't been able to watch many of the games, but I don't recall seeing them in the several I've watched. Definitely not redshirts.
