Potentially interesting situation brewing in yutland. In an effort to throw his weight around (pun intended) regarding a new practice facility, cow reminded everyone that while “Alabama is a football school, Kentucky is a basketball school”. That didn’t sit well with Porky who responded by flexing on cow via twitter. A rather entertaining hillbilly civil war has broken out between the idiots on raftards and the imbiciles on the liar.

Also, recent scuttlebutt on the Chris Rodriquez situation indicates that his only issues and potential suspension does not only stem from a DUI. It’s rumored that he also physically assaulted his girlfriend and, that there’s a video of it. Stupes is trying his best to keep it all hush-hush.

Suppression of evidence of a domestic assault by one of his players? I’d say that bears Porky’s comments out and definitely makes uk a football school.

Calipari responds to Stoops…allegedly. 😁

I do not like either one, but there is no way Calipari would ever author that note.

The lack of coverage by the HL or the CJ on the Chris Rodriguez suspension is so predictable. If it was a Cardinal, the story would be highlighted by both papers. Stoops will do everything possible to conceal the truth, and no one in the media will touch it.

Anyone have screenshots of what went on? I've been a little busy this week and missed it

Look Cal is right but he ego got in the way. He wants a new practice facility and apparently football is getting everything it needs. He threw football under the bus. Stoops has been fighting the UK is a basketball school reality his entire time at UK. He is trying to change the perception of UK football. Cal’s comments didn’t help.

Stoops runs a players first program but he is very fortunate UK media is friendly and will not do any investigative reporting. The other thing is he is winning once that stops he won’t be able to control the media. These DUI’s and other questionable incidents will turn negative in a hurry. It is a tight rope to walk but at UK that is how it has to be done.

Its almost sad that we don't present enough of being a hated rival that UK has to look internally for a villain...
That's my take anyway.

Thanks Steeler; I do not do any Social Media, at least other than this Rival Sports venue, so I have no idea as to what a “meme“ actually is in terms of what is real or fictional.

Calipari is not the smartest guy around, but clearly there is at least some truth to the adversarial relationship between he and Stoops.

Cal has always had a tendency to talk a little much. Sometimes a lot. This is one he shouldn't have said.
The 'we are a basketball school's quote will be every recruiters dream going against Kentucky.
As far as Crod....whoever knows isn't saying. I've seen everything from a whole season to 3 games.
After frat house rock last year it seems any legal issue is a wide open topic....but the only one that has been announced is a DUI stop.
Your guess is good as mine. Kid is a grad student this year and came back to see if he could break Snell records.
Unlikely now.

This doesn’t have anything to do with sUcK down playing the rival with us. This is about sUcK coaches fighting in public amongst themselves and Louisville fans enjoying every minute of it.

I crack up at that headline every time I log in. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

News flash... not. Coaches usually have big egos. I'm sure every football coach including Schnellenberger cringed because Louisville was known as a "basketball" school. I had no issue with it because it was basically true.

Schnellenberger didn’t leave because of basketball or Crum he left because of conference affiliation. He wanted in the Big East not CUSA and to be honest CUSA was not a good football or basketball conference.

Correct; Howard believed as an Independent, he could schedule more National TV, and increase UL recruiting nationwide.
