Just looking ahead I would have to assume we start Eberle. He had a really good outing in Nashville. Schweitzer should be good and I would think everyone with the exception of Forbes and Biven could go an inning or a batter or two in a must situation..

I really think we are the better team and if "big if"we play "clean" we should pull out the win. The key is focus. This team just tends to lose focus at the drop of the hat and a bad loss is often followed by another bad loss.. Hopefully we can put all that bad behind us and take care of business tomorrow. Agreed, this team is as good offensively and defensively as any team left in the tournament. If we pitch like we did in Nashville, we win.

Eberle is going to need to last 4 or even better 5 innings. This staff doesn't do very well when we dip in the bullpen real early. I wouldn't be surprised to see Forbes come in to face a batter or even pitch an inning if needed.

That really is enough good pitching to win the game and I'd bet that's more than what Miami has in the tank. We just have to be focused on our business and play clean baseball and we win...

Just an observation here at the game. Cards really looked locked in during fielding practice. Really whipping the ball around and a lot of chatter. Let's hope it carries over to the game..
