Big series to end ACC regular season. Here are the matchups:

Game 1 Eberle (5-2) vs Morningstar (5-1)

Game 2 Biven (3-0) vs Dallas (4-1)

Game 3 Forbes (2-2) vs Levonis (3-1)

Team BA -

U of L - .307
Wake - .306

Their closer numbers are ok but not outstanding - 5 saves, 35 k's and 13 BB's

HR's

U of L - 66
Wake - 86 (don't know if they play in a small park)

Definitely think we can get 2 of 3, hopefully a sweep!

Both Fri and Sat about the best you can hope for is 4 solid innings form our starters. Hopefully Eberle kills it tonight.

Can already kind of tell WF wants it more. Could just be me, though.

They (WF) have hit the ball Really hard so far. I guess the coaches are riding with EE though. No mound visits and no one warming up.

Yes, they don’t get cheated on their swings, do they? Wake has always had that reputation as a swing for the fences team, and they have blasted the ball on all three of their hits so far.

Not happy with the score right now, but this has been a great college baseball game. Wake is like looking in the mirror for this UofL team.

Davis is really good but overmatched. Next guy just didn’t get a big hit.

Then let’s walk the 9 hole hitter again.

Why would you give that hitter anything in the middle of the plate with 1st base open?
Wake in the same situation walks the better hitter to get a better matchup.

That was epically stupid relying on a guy that throws 88 with zero control of his off-speed stuff.

Sometimes I just need to shut up! 😂

Cards have played like a little league team ever since I posted this!

I really don’t understand why they went with Stark in that spot. He isn’t good and hasn’t been good. It makes no sense.

My thought is they already had it planned out who was going to pitch that game and didn't want to jeopardize the plan for Friday and Saturday. While I understand why pitchers need to know if there is a possibility they are going to pitch, I think you got to try and do everything to win that first game. I know it didn't work against GT but it seems like Dan just threw up the white flag.

Game 2. Like watching the GD HR derby. Wake just teeing off on Biven. First HR was about 450 feet to dead center.

Wyatt D. shoukd have been the guy for us in the 9th. That’s the easiest call in the world.

Anyone know what is wrong with Taggert? Neither of the other catchers are as good. But he is not playing.

TERRIBLE coaching. Asee loaded - Why would you NOT PH for Baker who is lousy at the plate. You bave Lippe and Tyson. JUST TERRIBLE.

This team is headed straight to a 3 seed (at best) in a top 4 seed region. Currently headed for. 5-game losing streak. Still 3 innings. Even if they score runs I doubt our pitching can keep runs off the board.
