When he talked about the breakdown in pass coverage he mentioned LBs along with the secondary. Said they had a lot of trouble when both TEs and a WR were on the same side of the formation.
Someone asked him a about Hicks playing more. Said he has had a great attitude the last month or so and they have been moving him around trying to get him on the field. Have him at OS LB now. I noticed on BCs last drive they tried to hit Dillion in the flat with a pass. That same play went for 30 or 40 yards earlier in the game. Hicks played is perfectly. He started to rush when the ball was snapped but when he saw Dillion coming out of the backfield he picked him up in coverage and the QB had to throw the ball away.
Said against Wake's offense there will be two keys to defensing it.
Dline has to be GAP sound. They have to be very disciplined and not vacate their GAP responsibility.
Will have to play tighter coverage at the snap or WF will kill them with short slant passes.
One final thing. Not sure who it was but some DWEEB asked SS: Your last ACC was about the same amount of time ago as it takes an elephant to be born. There was a new baby elephant born at the Zoo yesterday. Would you like him to be named Scott Satterfield? I kid you not. You can't make this stuff up.
