Not the biggest 48 hr line movement in history but Norte Dame went from a 20 1/2 point favorite to an 18 point favorite as of this morning.

I may of missed it but I didn’t hear of any significant injury news for the Irish.

I’m going to predict we hang tough but ultimately lose 34-24.

ND lost a big time WR although I can’t imagine that would’ve shifted the line that much.

Oh no. Not another invite for those ND posters to respond.... Can’t wait until the game is won and over so those clowns will move on..
My favorite was one of the ND nimrod blogger on SB Nation that said Scott Satterfield had just ‘a mildly successful’ run at App State. The man had a 47-16 record with multiple Conference Championships and a 3-0 record in bowls his last 5 years there.

He’s going to have some struggles getting this turned around here but the man and his staff can coach.

FWIW, I read an article yesterday in the online Chicago Sun-Times in which the sportswriter picks us to cover the 18 point spread.

If we cannot get the victory outright, I will go for the moral victory!!

It’s gone back up to 20 1/2. We shall see where it ends up. But bookies hit and miss.

That’s not surprising. There are probably a lot of everyday gamblers that couldn’t believe the spread went down that much and jumped on the chance throw more money on the Irish.

The bookmakers count on the back and forth.

There is a school of thought that this a total mismatch of a College Football playoff team vs a 2-10 bum and there’s also a school of thought that Louisville was not all the bad last year before they quit after the FSU debacle. Not to mention the Cards have some talented skill guys.

We’ll see.

Actually it’s 18 right now on most books. 18 1/2 on some. I wonder where you saw it was 20 1/2. Could have been. If so that’s a ton of movement back and forth.

Looking at The Score. It jumped today. They are usually right on.

Interesting. It’s 18 1/2 on Bovada and has been most of today. Actual bettable lines are the truth. Bovada is one of many.

Vegasinsider.com shows multiple casino lines which are the real deal.

Vegas never figured out Louisville last year. I don’t think they covered once.

First games are always a crap shoot. Notre Dame can only watch App State film. They would be crazy to watch any film of Louisville. It is not an easy game for Notre to prep for.

If you are going to be how do you take the points and Louisville. Louisville couldn’t stop the run and Notre Dame is built to run.

Maybe it’s time for our esteemed moderator to deal with this O’Shea character.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

This is easily the thinnest- skinned board I’ve ever seen.
Nobody is saying a negative word about UL, but some on here are still directing insults at ND fans, (which is against Rivals board rules), but the ND fans are the problem?

Some Red & Black are poking the ND giant. Yes???? But our thin skin comes from dealing with KY crap the last few years and our never ending controversy hits from within.

The image some have from the rest of the rival fans we play....is that we are a play toy. We are not!

Then apparently you haven't seen many boards. This board is one of the most tolerant on rivals. People come here uninvited all the time to talk smack (look in the mirror for a clue), yet are not banned although most times that badge of honor is what they are looking for in the first place.

BTW, plenty of people are saying negative things about UofL all over the country and that's OK. We have to prove ourselves and that will take time. We have the right coach now to change the culture and to build our football program into one we can be proud of so it's all good. Notre Dame should win and win fairly easily so that means there's no pressure on the Cards. Come out loose and play while having fun. Maybe the Irish will not take the Cards seriously. We'll see.

There's a huge difference between ND fans (real and fake) and their opinions and ND. I am very confident ND Football takes the Louisville Cardinals very seriously. They remember 2016. I expect a humdinger of a game tomorrow night. I keep hearing noise about what ND will and won't do. Father Jenkins and Jack Swarbrick are very capable leaders. They alone speak for ND and the future of ND athletics. They are the caretakers of ND Football. They do a darn good job.

We get that all the time on our free board. I rarely see Irish fans insult other fans especially on their boards. Most of the time I come to see news on the other teams or recruits. I expect a good game because I believe the coaching staff that the cardinals have now will make a difference over the course of the year

The money moved heavily overnight. I checked last night and it looked like the money was about 56/44% on ND at -18.5, but it’s 80/20 as of like 30 seconds ago when I checked.

The cards will be hard to figure out by the wise guys because last years team was horribly coached and recruiting was bad for a couple of years. There is some talent on the team but no depth. So with this staff things will improve especially defensively and attitude wise. However will that be enough to overcome a 18 to 22 line or outright win against the Irish My guess is the Irish will cover but the cards will be much improved.
