The University of Louisville softball fell 9-1 to #4 Florida and 6-3 to #14 Duke on day two of the T-Mobile Tournament Saturday at Florida's Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium

Freshman Ally Alexander went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and an RBI to lead the Cardinals at the plate in a 6-3 loss to No. 14. Duke.

Not much to say about the earlier game against Fla. The Gators jumped on Chardonnay Harris early and the Cards managed just two hits in six innings.

I saw a handful of games last season and that team looked really young. Are those young players gonna be counted on more this season?

Aprille has six new starters to go with Roby, Greenwood, Servi and the team appears to have a little more offensive attack than last year. Having three experienced and healthy pitchers helps too.
