A normally hostile environment is about to get wildly more hostile, in light of today's news. Plus, the team is already sliding, and now this morale deflating turn of events. I originally thought the Blue Devils by 20. It'll likely be by 30 now.

As I said on another thread, Padgett should turn all of this around and use it for motivation. The first words out of my mouth at practice today would have been this: the NCAA screwed us over by taking our banner and now it's our turn to screw them over by winning the whole thing.

I mean, I don't really see how this news impacts the current team. There are no future sanctions associated with this ruling and no members on the current team had anything to do with that era or team.

Having said that I thought UL would lose this game by 15+ and I think they still lose it by 15+.

I've been off the Pitino wagon for many years now and to this day I still think Sypher was the most embarrassing and "fire-able" thing he did at UL.

If DP plays Adel on Allen, bagwell and Anas don't play, cards shoot 50%+ from field, and FT shooting +80% with lots of minutes for Sutton, Perry, Ryan and malik AND DP subs based on energy and defense...lots of ifs I know, then it will be close. Remember that Cards have played best ACC ball on the road this season.
