Who do you guys think helped or hurt themselves the most so far in these bowl games? Myself personally I think Shedeur lost some ground to Ward as being the first QB to come off the board. For me also I have been disappointed with some of the teams and players that I have seen for the first time in some of these games also. Watching Ashton struggle against a real defense along with him getting bitten by the fumble bug.

Shedeur, to me, showed he will be a much much better “team” player.

Ward showed he is a ME player. Play long enough to break a record, get his name in a book, and quit on his team mates.

But that’s just me.

I just enjoyed Michigan’s victory over Alabama. All those people crying over them being excluded in favor of SMU or Boise - they did not earn a playoff spot and proved it by getting thumped by an average Michigan squad.
Yeah even Paul Finbaum had to finally admit he was wrong about ol Alabama. It’s wild that Deboer is already on the Hot Seat after one season but hey just like all the other coaches who jumped ship after one successful season, he will learn that the grass isn’t always greener.

The BIG is flexing his muscle over the SEC. The Illini win over South Carolina and Michigan over Alabama were impressive wins, and seeing OSU dominating Oregon could be interpreted as a trend.

I was not real sure about Boise State, but they sure gave a great account of themselves while giving Texas all they wanted. Surprised to see ND favored over UGA; if the Irish beat the Dogs, it will suggest the SEC football may still be the best conference from top to bottom, but the BIG appears to have displaced the SEC as the most powerful football conference as PSU, OSU continue to show off their talent.

BSU gave Penn St all they wanted

But we knew what you meant 👍😉

Tx barely beat Az St….and should have lost in regulation if not for a totally sec favoring no call of targeting.

As Resident Wolverine here, I was blown away. I realize BAMA would be short a lot of players due to opt outs and transfers but so was Michigan. And these guys were DL and top two running backs on a very mediocre team. I was expecting a blowout loss. The former backups stepped up and treated me to a surprise win, giving me hope for next year. It wasn't pretty, but Michigan FB normally is like watching sausage being made. Bo was smiling!

I basically wore out the remote while this and the Cards game overlapped, switching every time a game went to commercial break. Two wins from my two favorite teams plus a win over UNC in the evening. Yesterday was a great day for me!

The biggest loser was the SEC. The thing I find interesting is the portal is really impacting their elite teams. They are losing talent but it is all going to their SEC competitors. Georgia lost WR’s and their QB. In the old days they simply replace them. Not this year.
