with his game. I really like the guy but there were just way too many bad, very low percentage shots last night. No passing to open teammates on 3 on 1 fast breaks and too many quick shots. Also too much hero ball and not playing within the offensive flow. I'm not blaming Terry solely for the loss but its something that one of our best players has to work on.

He's got a lot on his mind, and on his plate. Call it the SI curse after that nice in depth article which laid out his past and where he wants to go in the future.

He'll be fine, but he has to regroup and relax some. He will.

He probably feels pressure to step up without Chris. Add in the NBA talk, which Coach Pitino should
NEVER publicly bring up.

Some of us have noted his lack of passing on fastbreaks. Russ did that alot also.

Playing 38 minutes was to much last nite, however Coach doesnt have much choice, and no
confidence in two hit wonder Gill, and probable transfer Aaron to relieve him.

He also has some hurt fingers. I still would have sat him a few more minutes, to take some pressure
off, and let him see , he doesnt have to do it all by himself.

But he is nba ready. Shame on you and your uninformed statement.

If UL was an NBA team, we could all be pulling for Terry, but we are not. When he leaves UL after this season, none of us will be thinking about him.after that.

He did it again tonight. He took more bad shots than good ones. Most higly contested and ill advised. But I wouldn't put too much into it. He wil be fine. Probably just the coach's fault for talking about him in public.

I thought Terry limited the forced shots tonight. I think the final possession is a good example. Still not where we need him to be but hopefully he continues to limit the forced shots.

He had two good shots. One layup and an open jumper. Everything else was drives against multiple defenders including one at end of half that was a turnover on a drive to the baseline with two defenders on him. He didn't take as many shots as usual, but I only recall two that he should have taken.

Terry Rozier seems to have lost some confidence in his shot lately. But he is doing exactly what he should be doing, which is all the other things that contribute to the team. Tonight, he had 11 points on 4-8 shooting (3-4 FTs), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Plus...the game winning assist to Mr. Mathiang.

The staff is asking him to do a lot.

He's doing the best he can. He went a full 40 tonight, and helped us get the biggest win we've had in a couple years.

To be fair and you and others might have already noticed this- plus this isn't aimed solely at you- but I made this thread after the ND game and don't want people thinking it was in response to the Virginia game tonight. I thought Terry played a good overall game today. He had the game winning assist to go with 7 rebounds, 3 big steals, and 4 assists.

Let the game come back to you Rozier you can be special for Louisville during this run that's coming GO CARDS!!

He needs another year. I think he has a great future but he needs to make sure it is in the NBA not overseas. He has a tremendous work ethic plus he is very talented which will make him a success. His biggest problem is he isn't a great shooter and has trouble finishing at the rim. In the NBA you have to hit shots and finish at the rim. Another year of working on his shot and getting stronger more crafty she going to the rim will ensure him in the lottery. He needs to be more disruptive on defense as well.

He may go after this year but it will be in the lower part of the first round and money in that part of the round is unclear. Stay a year he probably will be in the top part of the draft.

He is a NBA talent maximizes the contact is the real goal.

The whole Virginia defense was geared up to stop him and they are the best defensive team in the country. He was not going to have a stellar game against them.

Yes,but I noticed that Rozier took heed from that ND game by trying to get the ball to different spots. He doesn't need to score 25.He forced a few yesterday, but it was a different Terry Rozier.

I'd still prefer to see him just pull up at 8 feet and drill that one or find somebody,as opposed to taking it too deep.

His steals were impressive too. Played for 40 minutes. I think people take it for granted the level of effort to do what Rozier did for 40 minutes.
