Ricky Jones is an idiot I remember him a few of years ago talking about the Kentucky Derby. A few years ago he said the Kentucky Derby has really blown up is was never this big. I thought what rock has this idiot been living under he obviously says what he wants and most of it lacks knowledgeable insight.

No fan of Jones, but even a blind squirrel gets an acorn every once in a while.

I am not always swayed by Ricky Jones‘ opinions but his stance on the possible return of Tom Jurich got my attention. See column in CJ below.

Brown is charged in state court with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment for allegedly firing at Greenberg.
He was arrested by federal agents April 6 at his home, where he had been on home incarceration since mid-February after the Louisville Community Bail Fund posted his $100,000 bond.

Just before 6:30 p.m. Friday, Lindsay ruled in favor of home incarceration, swearing that Brown's grandmother and University of Louisville professor Dr. Ricky Jones both be third party custodians.

Wow. Hadn't seen TJ mentioned in the last 5 minutes glad we have another thread about him finally.

I had a crazy dream last night….

Tom Jurich holds a press conference to announce he “still is and will forever be“ a lifelong Cardinal fan. However, at the same time he graciously states that he has made a decision that returning to UL as Athletic Director is not something that is in his best interest. He expresses his sincere gratitude to the many fans and program donors that have so strongly supported him over the years.

Before leaving the podium he then whole heartedly endorses Josh Heird for the job and asks that the entire fan base, including donors and corporate sponsors, to get behind both Josh and the University in an effort to move things forward in a united effort to make U of L the GREAT university we all remember.

Then my alarm went off and can’t remember how things ended.

I remember he wished the fan base all the best but said since the university screwed him and his family that in his heart it would be hard for him to work in the best Interest if the university from afar. If he is not the man in charge Louisville fans should not expect him to solve their problems that falls on the person who is in charge.
