Exactly - who needs a HOF coach with multiple seasons being the last one standing?yay, it ends the "let's bring him and what was the name of the ad who wouldn;t fire him back" i forgot his name, forgot that regime, forgot them completely and now the talk of them can be officially over, dead, done, gone, that man aint walking thru the door lol
You are not alone. RP is a rock star coach. Plus, he can freaking X and O like no other. I wish him luck.I will go ahead and say it now, I miss Rick, the drama and being relative in college basketball again.
He put us in this situation that KP has to straighten out!!!I will go ahead and say it now, I miss Rick, the drama and being relative in college basketball again.
That’s not what the investigation findings said…He put us in this situation that KP has to straighten out!!!
Payne ain’t straightening shit out, except his bank account. He put us in this situation that KP has to straighten out!!!
Crazy to think Pitino was 4 UofL coaches ago. That’s not what the investigation findings said…
Krazy with a K - like the Knee jerk idiots that got rid of him.Crazy to think Pitino was 4 UofL coaches ago.
St. John's will win a NCAA game before we do.I would be stoked if I were a St. John’s fan! Best case scenario for them!
How's that "straightening" process been working for you the last several years? After this much time, you sure we're trying to straighten the right things??He put us in this situation that KP has to straighten out!!!
Been awhile since I have posted here. Lurking a bit. I hope RP does great. Like you, I am grateful for him resuscitating our program.Man, I haven't posted here in years. Good to see all the old faces still hanging around. I don't have much to say about basketball these days. I'm glad people still enjoy it. The WHOLE state of Kentucky should be forever grateful for Rick Pitino. The city of Louisville should be forever grateful to TJ.
I'm glad to see RP being able to take it home with SJ. Well deserved.
When all the turmoil was going down, it was easy to see what was happening. All the exaggerated outrage...I knew the sun was setting on the program(s). In time, in some ways, it made the early success so much more enjoyable. Fond memories of watching some great games with friends...Been awhile since I have posted here. Lurking a bit. I hope RP does great. Like you, I am grateful for him resuscitating our program.
The sun has set on the whole system. What is left is the decay. But back when it mattered, we were one of the best!Sadly, those days are gone. Likely for good.
The tragedy is much of the damage self inflicted...
Not too sure about “all universities.” Something tells me the big and adept will survive and prosper. That used to be us or at least what we strived to be…
Rick Pitino is a cheating rat bastard that left UofL holding the bag. He ain't worth any of our concerns and any school that hires him will eventually get exactly what they deserve. Now, I believe he is one of the great coaches of all time and that is the tragedy of his basketball coaching career. He never, never had to cheat but he did in both his professional AND personal life. His reputation is totally tarnished and UofL, and me, as a lifelong fan, deserve a helluva lot more. And so do you. PS I'm not sure why he is getting ANY attention from UofL fans.Even the haters recognize that Rick will be successful in identifying FF talent, coaching them up and ultimately making St John’s a formidable opponent in the NCAA tournaments.
So what do you say to Luke Hancock? Russ Smith? All of RP's former players here? Are they deserving of your respect? Do they not know more about the coach than you?Rick Pitino is a cheating rat bastard that left UofL holding the bag. Is there room for one more in your safety bubble of unicorns and rainbows? Better yet, just get me 10ccs of ignorance so I can experience the bliss you do.
