He was a little bit before the time I was really engaged into sports. He was entertaining on the Joe B and Denny Show. RIP.
Well said brotherHe was the UK Coach the whole time I was at UK. He seemed to be a genuine and caring person. He was what so much of the world is missing today…just a kind, decent gentleman. RIP Coach.
I guess that’s typical when a guy coaches for your rival. I could be wrong but I thought there was a lot of talk about his guards Minnifield and Master being so much better than our guards. I guess you should feel that way about your players. Rest In Peace Joe!I thought he was a good coach and did a great job but I didn’t like him then. I liked him after his coaching career was over and his true self came out. Like another poster posted he was a gentleman and a good guy. He also was a good ambassador to the game and to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
