i just find this amazong and posted here and no one checks out the dugout page when no games. but holy crap, Greg Maddux used to tip every pitch her threw and no one, i mean no one, ever figured it out. this is astonishing. when the catcher threw the ball back, Maddux would catch it in different ways, ie out in front of him, close to his body, etc, and that would indicate his next pitch to the catch. He called every pitch and gave signs to the catcher to indicate what it was and no one ever knew. Maybe the greatest pure pitcher in history. Wow!!!
