Oooh dey mad !

Oh I know all about LPT. Louisville's play toy lol man I hated the Gillispie years. Can definitely still be used for football, too.
It's all good fun, Jimbo. One of my best friends was ragging me over the weekend about "Slick Rick" and the escort situation. We both got a laugh.

At the end of the day, both schools are included in most top eight BB programs of all time. Only one other state can claim that. Like us, they have family, friends, neighbors and coworkers on the other side of the fence.

Definitely all in good fun! Most of my friends and family here in Louisville are huge Card fans so I'm all about giving the other side some crap every now and then! BTW, I'd say U of L is #7 all time, with a chance to pass up Indiana in the near future.

[QUOTE="clearthebase. At least Saban does something with all of his #1 recruiting classes.

YES!!, He wins titles and puts players in the NFL.
Usually after only 4/5 years. And that's the reason
Saban recruits so well:rolleyes:[/QUOTE]
Ever heard of PayPal cal?

Yep and I am willing to concede that UK based on their storied history is probably top 3.

Yes the charges are serious. The Cards did the crime and did the time with a self ban, scholarship limit and recruiting limits. Theyll have subsequent probation and Coach Pitino will probably be suspended 3-9 games..

Per the new NCAA guidelines, Pitino faces anywhere from a half season to a full season ban for a level 1 infraction. He's got some serious work to do to convince the NCAA that he deserves less than the minimum.

When did the guidelines go in effect? Maybe our case predates these guidelines? Most everyone is basing it on the 9 game suspension that Boeheim got.

The new guidelines went into effect just before Syracuse's hearing and after they received their NoA, so Syracuse was able to successfully argue that the new rules should not apply to Boeheim.

That will not apply in this case, as Pitino will go before the NCAA a full two years after Boeheim did. Pitino is going to need to present a great case showing how well he trained McGee in NCAA rules compliance if he wants to avoid a lengthy suspension.

Push,

I just read the new (2013) violation structure and the penalties for a coach suspended for a Level 1 or 2 violation can be 10% to an entire season depending on the nature of the violation.
