Big blew nation has their knickers in a major twist.
They had champagne on ice. Im sure mattie bangs was waiting by the phone for a call from Espn.

17 threads on the first page about lou-e-ville on crap illustrated. Cards are living rent free.

To top it off, i listened to the entire larry glover show. Larr, gabe, bruce and the bumpkins
were incredulous that UofL didnt get a lack of institutional control violation. They of course lambasted Coach Pitino on the "he should have known".

Predicting he face a suspension for this, even if he didnt know. So he doesnt get off scot free.
This new rule is the "john caliperi rule". Coach gets two final fours vacated. Wins vacated.
Walks away scot free while the school is punished.

Dont throw stones cayut fans. Rupp had the first ban in Division 1 history.

Yes the charges are serious. The Cards did the crime and did the time with a self ban, scholarship limit and recruiting limits. Theyll have subsequent probation and Coach Pitino will probably be suspended 3-9 games.

The banner still hangs. Get over it blewbies.

seems like it is 1000 threads of pistivity on craps pause. 2adulters may have an aneurysm or a heart attack, he really hates anything Pitino or louisville. lol sucks to be him.

matty bangs chummed that fan base into a lather and they wanted to see the death penalty levied against us.

kind of ironic that the guys walking around in red/black/yellow (Card fans) and the guys with butthurt are blue and on their knees. (Uklown fans)

sucks fans full of extreme butthurt.

matty bangs
and rick bozitch are big mad..........

They wallowed in the muck of their dreams of the NCAA giving you the death penalty. We got the same crap from other organized bands of boneheads.

Now relax, ignore the fools, and remember that they only wanted the NCAA to do what THEY are incapable of...completely destroy your program.

Help me understand. So NCAA proved that this prostitute was PAID by a coaching staff member to ILLEGALLY give benefits to UL players and correct me if I'm wrong, the NCAA still hasn't released the punishment yet? So in all, it was proved UL did cheat correct? UL had to sit out of the NCAA tournament last year, correct? The sanctions haven't been officially released correct? There is still a chance that UL gets the 2013 banner taken down for using 2 2013 players that were ineligible according to the NCAA report, correct?

You can keep hoping and praying for that to happen, but it won't. The NCAA has spoken. The University is going to appeal 1 of the 4 major infractions which alleges coach Pitino failed to monitor one of his staff members. He will most lilkely lose that appeal (thanks to coaches like Calipari who used the "I didn't know what was going on right under my nose" excuse after having 2 final 4's vacated) and he will serve a 8 to 12 game suspension.

Keep hope alive. Keep dreaming for the worst. Psss. There is no real way to help you understand what you don't want to understand. Haters are just going to hate.

At the end of the day, this is about minor impermissible benefits spread out over a 4 year period by a rogue staff member. I know everyone freaks out because sex is involved, and that's fine. Sex is, strangely, taboo for a lot people, especially for older and conservative types. I get it. Whatevs. Impermissible benefits, especially minor ones, don't always equate to major sanctions. You may ask "what's minor about a rogue staffer paying a stripper for sex?" If you do the math, and I know that may be difficult for some, the money involved stretched out over a 4 year period with the number of individuals involved comes out to about $200- $300 per person. For example, Camby while coached by Cal at UMASS, accepted thousands of dollars of cash and gifts. That was major. A few hundred bucks is minor. I hope I helped you understand.

Hi grover !
What took u so long

Here's some reality: Certain fans and bases are clamoring for the banner to come down.

Let's look at a comparison. USC won the national championship in football while Reggie Bush was given over $250k in "impermissible benefits". Bush was stripped of his heisman, but the wins and the banner still hangs even though Bush was deemed ineligible.

UofL isn't disputing a total of $5,400 in impermissible benefits as charged by the NCAA. So if the NCAA doesn't strip a title over $250k and an ineligible player, you think they're going to do it over $5,400 and possibly an ineligible player(s)?

Never said I wanted it down. I'm a fact guy too. The fact is, a coaching staff member illegally paid for players. That is fact. Amount obviously matters to you all, but you got caught and that is fact. I don't care if you get a banner down, facts are you had to sit the tourney out last year and you STILL don't know if there are anymore sanctions from the NCAA. It is pure guessing until then, again that is a fact

The fact is there were 4 level I charges, with one to Pitino, two directed at former director of basketball operations Andre McGee and the fourth aimed at former assistant Brandon Williams.

The university was not charged with any violations, such as a lack of institutional control or failure to monitor, the two most egregious NCAA infractions which COULD HAVE led to strong sanctions including vacating wins and possibly stripping the 2013 NCAA title from the program. That's not going to happen because the 4 Level I charges involved McGee x2 who ins't coaching anywhere now, 1 against a former assistant, and 1 they plan on appealing is against Pitino . The ONLY thing that will probably happen is Pitino will be suspended for some games if his appeal is denied.

Haters are going to hate. Keep hating Grover. Just make sure to leave the fake police badge at home. LMAO!

There is also the fact that the NCAA said in the report that they accepted the self imposed punishment by U of L. Go read it yourself. The only thing left is a likely suspension of your favorite coach.

It's obsession from uk fans plain and simple. When they have the largest thread in their message board history- with thousands upon thousands of posts- talking about UofL you know their obsession knows no bounds.

Absolutely there's a chance. But which one of you am I addressing?...

"Elite program", my a$$...

If you can believe this, I've actually heard LPT fans now promoting how much of a penalty we've already taken--which is the same argument U of L is making for different reasons. U of L doesn't want anyone to forget that we've already taken our medicine. Slapd!cks are doing it to save face.

Priceless.

Exactly. Most Uk fans keep willfully forgetting these facts. UofL has already served a punishment last season with the post season ban (with a highly ranked team too. not one that wasn't going to make the tourney anyway), scholarship reductions, and recruiting time limits. Don't forget these were self imposed sanctions as well. I can only imagine their response if UofL had done absolutely nothing to self punish. So to them- damned if you do and damned if you don't. They were hoping and praying for the death penalty and are crying and screaming when that didn't happen.

They are scared to death that Pitino is going to win his 3rd championship (2nd at Louisville) before Cow wins another. At least Saban does something with all of his #1 recruiting classes.

Your mom should have swallowed you

I think the fan base's take that UK fans or other rivals are mad, they are not,
The country is laughing at your school and you seem to not realize it...Its not just local media who you think has a conspiracy against UL. Can anybody name on one hand how many Prostitute scandals have occurred in NCAA history? UL is the low life of college sports, UL has the two sleaziest head coach combos in the country, and there isn't a close second. Throw in the President scandal, the culture is one big scandal. I want to thank you for it cause it has been a lot of FUN and brought laughter to everyone around the country, not just in Kentucky lol

LOL....seriously? NO ONE, I mean no one here believes your fan base is not mad. It doesn't take much time to review your board and come to that conclusion. You keep telling yourself it's laughter, not anger though. I'm sure that's a good coping mechanism, that and posting here. Troll

This is about sex. If by older conservative types you mean people with good morals.......The part that bothers me is we are talking about minors. Girls that were underage and "prospects" that were 16-17 yrs old. You show me a parent that thinks it is OK for their child to be entertained in this manner and I will show you a POS parent. More than likely this if far from over. Maybe the NCAA will let it go for what has been implemented. There will be civil suits at the very least over this. Probably worse than that.

The cayut fans are guilty on TWO counts. One, total ignorance, which of course we already knew and, two, incredible wishful thinking. The old adage about wishing in one hand and taking a crap in the other; at the end of the day everybody knows what the hands are holding. Doofus is a pretty good word to describe the uahkay faithful.

GO CARDS - BEAT EVERYBODY!!! God Bless America!!!

YES!!, He wins titles and puts players in the NFL.
Usually after only 4/5 years. And that's the reason
Saban recruits so well:rolleyes:

UKclowns, LPT, Cayuts, blewbies...
you guys are pretty clever with the nicknames lol
A primer for you.

LPT is a FB term that came from Matt Hayes of the Sporting News. Doesn't apply to BB for obvious reasons, but does apply in FB for obvious reasons. You know what it means, know it's true and can't do anything about it.

Blew Bellies came from former coach JLS.

Slapd!cks comes from the mouth of CBP.

Cayuts, well just listen to any UK call-in show. You hung that one on yourself!

Oh I know all about LPT. Louisville's play toy lol man I hated the Gillispie years. Can definitely still be used for football, too.
