I don't know the official reason, but, simply put, there are better in front of her right now. That's not to say she won't compete for playing time down the road, but with Dana, HVL, Kianna, Ahlana, Norika, Kasa and "E" all playing quite well, and only 200 minutes of playing time to distribute, some tough choices have to be made. I'd love to see her get more minutes, but, I'll trust in the brain-trust that makes these kind of calls.Hey Sonja do you know why Nyah Green doesn't get any run. I was impressed that coach could talk a MCDickie to RS but after a year in the program she is still not seeing the court.
My only concern with this team and it is a very small one, but I worry about depth and god forbid, injuries. I know the WBB’s game is a little different than the men but the athleticism is getting a lot better.Hopefully she sticks with it and not transfer and be the next D. Evans!
Only 7 players had more than 16 minutes and the most points by any player besides the starting 5 had 4...Right now we have plenty of depth but you never know with injuries. Someone Who is not a starter but I like a lot is Kono. She is very athletic and fluid with her moves.
It's been a crazy season so far and I'm not going to count Nyah out of the equation, because you never know what lies ahead. I think she'll be ready if the Cards need her in a tough situation and I'm content in letting Coach and the coaches determine what is needed on the court at what times. Remember, they see these players every day in practice and know their skill sets quite a bit better than we, the fans, do.Nyah is not as good as the players in front of her. She is solid but doesn’t do anything particularly well. She has slow feet, to slow to play guard and not talk enough to be effective down low.
I would be surprised if she makes it four years if he keeps stockpiling talent.
Seygan and Lindsey didn’t have the game to play a lot of minutes at Louisville, Nyah does in time.Nobody said that anyone was unhappy, but players want to play. I don’t think Seygan or Lindsey were unhappy, but they transferred because they wanted to play.
Nyah may stay all four years, someone could get hurt, anything could happen, but if we keep recruiting on the same trajectory, she will have a difficult time cracking the rotation.
