Louisville has lost the following scholarship players for next year:

Jordan Watkins
Hassan Hall
Desmond Daniels
Zay Peterson
Ja'Darien Boykin

Justin Marshall and Nick Okeke were graduates so I'm not sure Louisville was counting their scholarships toward 2022 so let's move forward under that premise.

Through the portal they have added:

MJ Griffin
Tiyon Evans
Dee Webb

Five minus three equals two. I was told by Satterfield that the numbers were in the 12-15 ball park.

I still think the high school numbers ar 12-15 and they will try to replace the two remaining outgoing transfer scholarships with incoming transfer scholarships. I think the linebacker the coaches were tweeting about is a transfer.

Louisville has 11 high school commitments. It looks like the potential additions of Lukes and Bell will make 13. If someone like Cam East, Jacarrius Peak, or Devaughn Mortimer want to sign they will make room.

At the moment I expect East to sign with Ole Miss. Mortimer took official visits to West Virginia and Louisville this month. A source at FSU told me he expects Mortimer to sign with FSU but that wasn't an opinion based on anything other than the fact that Norvell had an in-home visit with him and it "went well." If it went so well why is he visiting here and West Virginia. I hope to get something more concrete on Mortimer's status with UofL later today. Peak is a bit of a mystery and I'm hoping to get a read on his status later today as well.
