I am watching this on YouTube and they are talking with Sananda Fru’s agent and why they chose Louisville if you get a chance go to YouTube and watch it. He said they chose Louisville because Louisville is one the schools that carrie’s weight in Europe. Louisville is a known program over there so when they got the invitation to visit the campus they came over for the Louisville vs Duke game.

They were impressed with the city, the Yum and the fan base. He said they went to the game early and the Yum was full capacity 20 minutes before the game. He said everything about their visit including the success of CPK was impressive. He said Sananda is the top player in Germany and one of the top players in Europe.

CPK expressed his enthusiasm over being selected as UL’s MBB HC; given where we were following the “KP disaster”, I am not sure that I viewed the opportunity at UL a anywhere close to what Pat felt.

UL MBB and the city of Louisville are both viewed more favorably outside of our area, than some of us do who are living right here. If this city can figure out away to break from the gang violence and the subsequent murders, it could become a serious rival to both Nashville and Indianapolis.

I see some positive activities returning to downtown Louisville, but still a ways to go before it gets to where it needs to be.

I just watched another podcast where Louisville is recruiting a guard from Spain who is one of the top players in Spain.

I went to US News and googled the top 25 most dangerous cities in the US. Louisville was not on that list but Memphis, Nashville and yes Chattanooga was on the list also.
