I said it in another thread, this team has gotten what they've earned (which isn't a lot). Just close this season out and rebuild the program from the ground up. I disagree on toughest loss in toughest season. I didn't think we'd do anything as I didn't think DP could really coach so this is kinda *meh*. There have been much worse seasons

That was probably the nail in their coffin. I think they needed that game to get in the tourney. Now they have to win the NC State game and 2 in the ACC tourney. NIT bound...yuck. Then 2 to 3 losing seasons. Great to be a Card basketball fan.

On top of the walk Adel looked lost on defense on the final shot. That was his man that hit the shot. He got caught “ball watching” and allowed the guy a clean catch & shot!

Almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades. Padgett’s team showed its true colors. Lots of potential, not a lot between the ears. We did everything we could to give them that game.

These players have been through he$$ and back. Especially Q and Anas. They didn’t deserve this ending. It would have been a great way to end their career giving all the BS they’ve put up with. Two player one a freshmen and Deng. Deng will live with this for a very long time.

I hate to say...but more to come, with the FBI looming for at least another two years...we will be lucky if there will be a team after that. It will take at least 5 to 10 years to recover.

well as long as "being in position" to win is all that matters I guess we can hang the banner back up. Deng blew the inbound play then proceeded to blow the coverage on a wide open 3 to win it, but hey as long as you you study hard then show up to the test and fail it its ok because you were in a position to pass but failed anyways.

Can't coach common sense...something I've seen Adel lacked for a whole season. He a physically gifted basketball player but man-oh-man, I don't think I'm being insensitive when I say "he's dumb as sh*t." I can forgive Perry for a Freshman mistake fouling a 3pt shooter but not an upper classman like Adel. UL just punched their ticket to the NIT and Adel will never be drafted because every NBA manager will be watching the ESPN replay and think "OMG...What an idiot!"

Yes he did. The TEAM also missed 4 of 6 free throws in the last minute of play. Hit those free throws and the last second meltdown never happens. That is why it was a team loss. It's not like Adel was out there intentionally making mistakes. He was playing hard. He just didn't execute just like his teammates didn't execute down the stretch.

You don't need to tone down anything for me. Be yourself. I'm good with it.

Hope is all we have at this point. I can't see it, but that's why they play the game. Going to NC State and winning on their senior day is going to be very difficult. Hope we can, but hope is all we got; for now.

The program is bigger than all this.It sucks for sure,but we've got more in our lifetimes to be proud of.Cheer for the team,whoever is wearing the Red and Black going forward,get behind the coach,whoever it is and soldier on...We'll be back,because there's too much tradition of winning here that assures us that we will.
