NFL opening night

I did watch some of last nights game, I have an Atlanta player on my [weak] FFL team. Havent seen what he did yet but as of halftime he did nothing, lol.

Obama did a great job.
The economic recovery we enjoyed today , started with him fixing the 800k jobs lost under Bush.

The record stock markets, low unemployment, and job recoveries didnt start under Trump.

The tax break expires for regular workers, yet remains permanent for Corporations and businesses. It also drove up the debt which the right beat Obama up on. Now not a word about it.

Trump is and was unfit for office period.
Not by words of Democrats, rather words by Republicans themselves who now follow Trump.

Mike pence said if you lie to the American people you should resign.

Hannity said Obama didnt have enough experience to hold the office.

Neither have said this about Trump.

So you guys can continue to be intellectually dishonest by applying different standards because the President is an R instead of a D.

You cant even criticize him for insulting ALL POWs and using deferments to avoid service.

Rather, you'll criticize an American peacefully exercising his God given rights of freedom.

Hypocrites thou art.
This might be the funniest thing that ive heard in a while. I guess Cats fans are correct when they say we have some Crown Royal guzzling dumb asses in our fan base because you must be drunk as hell.

I want to make something clear here! All my relatives and my self served and defended the rights of free speech, religious freedom and that all people should have equal rights. Now with that said, I can not respect people be they white, black, red, yellow or tan, who are always creating racial divide to obtain thier political goals! I think there are multiple ways to peaceful protest with our freedom of speech.

Now I am a Christian whiteman of Norman, Scottish and English decent. I think Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of our greatest Americans of the 20th Century. On August 28, 1963, I was 14 years old. I listened to every word of Doctor King's "I Have a Dream" speech.

It seems to me that many, including African Americans have forgotten his message! I believe he was truly a child of God. And this quote helped me become a better person.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

Doctor King would not approve of the blacks attacking whites, other blacks or any other racial groups.

So I think the Flag Kneelers not only dishonor American Patriots and Veterans, they also dishonor Martin luther King. I also think many playing the race card or racists themselves.

One thing I know for sure is God will not judge us by the color of our skin but by our faith and the content of our character. Which brings us back to Martin Luther Kings quote: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

I rest my case. God bless all of us.

I don't have a squad. I have a division. The NFC North: Bears, Lions, Packs, and Vikes.

Bengals. Though I'm much more of a fan of whichever teams UofL's grads are playing for these days.

I served in the Army in peace time. My father fought in the Navy in Korea. My great grandfather in the Marines in WWI. Hell I have relatives who fought on both sides in the Civil War. We all do.

As far as hard right turn or hard left turn we all have the right to express our beliefs regardless of which side of the political spectrum we fall. I served in the military to protect that right. I don’t see that someone expressing a political belief is disrespecting me or my family. John McCain is a hero of mine. He was a conservative. Bob Kerrey, a former US Senator who won the Congressional Medal of Honor and lost a leg in Vietnam, is also a hero of mine. He is a liberal.

What I’m sick of is people on both sides of the spectrum who demonize others because they disagree with them in expressing themselves.

Well said

Today's snowflakes can't handle a reverent kneeling protest. You can't get much more respectful of a protest than that.

It's true that the value of a protest is directly related to the reaction to it...had it all been ignored, the national conversation wouldn't have happened. All of the offended parties have sparked a need for clarification and respectful disagreement...of course often that doesn't happen, and there is the necessary symptom of knee jerk reactions and a rush to judgment...growing pains, is my take...but, I'm an optimist. Go Redskins!!!
