I just read the NCAA passed a new rule you can now play 5 years of college sports. I would think that would be for any sport but I know for sure it is for Volleyball.
Can you cite or quote this new rule? I don't see any new rules for college volleyball eligibility, now allowing double contact and allowing some jewelry like nose rings ? I think it has always been 5 years to complete 4 years of eligibility, outside of medical waivers, Covid, hardship.I just read the NCAA passed a new rule you can now play 5 years of college sports. Ultimately that's on the player and maybe some responsibility on her coaches to not understand if a player still has eligibility left.I was reading an article about Former Nebraska volleyball player Lexi Rodriguez who said she was disappointed that this new rule came down after she turned pro. She said if she would have known that she could have played another year at Nebraska she would of stayed in college.
