For anyone wanting to discuss the rest of the NCAA Tournament.

Clemson getting boat raced by McNeese St. right now.

Of course they are, they're the last pick I need on my parlay that would pay $150. This is the reason parlays drive betters crazy. One game simply makes no sense.

Cal vs Pitino
Must see TV. It was kinda weird watching Pitino stalking the sidelines last night, ready to choke somebody out😂
I'll definitely be watching these two knuckleheads go at it tomorrow.

Cal/Pitino will be fun. My brethren have decided RP is the greatest coach and a swell guy.....lol....so I guess 4 or 5 years is where emotional memory evaporates.
Drake looked MIGHTY good...winning 31 games is a great feat no matter your conference.
Gonzaga shows that yes they are way underseeded and Georgia shows nope they ain't quite there.
McNeese State has its first ever win. Kansas and Self lose their first ever first round game.
Kansas plays JUST at the level point shaving can be considered and Calipari fails to choke completely.
Auburn plays like talented psychos and advances. Houston looks scary good. St John's defense is nasty, nasty.

Day 2 setting up. On with the show.

It will be interesting to see the makeup of the teams that advance in the tournament. What is the mix of portal vs returning vs impact freshmen. I have always been of the opinion that you can't win it all with freshmen/younger players being the base of your team. Too much pressure. Maybe that applies to having to many portal players, they have talent but lack tournament experience. However it shakes out it sure is nice to be able to enjoy watching the tournament again. The previous two years really soured me on basketball, but we are back baby!

Gonzaga has played very well the last month. It wouldn't shock me to see them advance pretty far in this thing.

Drake plays a version of that Virginia basketball that drives us and other teams crazy, controlling the tempo. They're legitimate, especially if they get the lead.

As good as the $ec was,the committee went too far with 14 teams. Color me shocked on that.🙄

Round two ready to get underway soon. Who are yall's upset specials today? Hell,I need a winner $$$😅

Calipari got over his first round exit jitters so I'm interested to see if Pitino can finally beat Cal in the tournament which he wasn't able to do at UofL.

Bill Oliver:
Did you happen to watch the Kansas/Arkansas game? It was evident that Self is clueless, and that Dickerson (7'2") played more like he was 5'2" while playing the worst game of his extended college basketball career.

Self took finally took Dickerson out when the Jayhawks fell behind by 10 midway in the 2nd half, but inexplicably put him back in after Kansas had not only whittled away the deficit, but went up by 3 and had possession of the ball.

Over the balance of the game, Dickerson was involved (if not directly responsible) for 7 unsuccessful offensive possessions that resulted in the 3 point Kansas lead, evaporating into a 7 point loss. Not sure if anyone asked Self in post game about his decision to bring Dickerson back in, but it did not escape the attention of the TV analyst in real time.

I am sure everyone thought that Bill Self and Kansas hit the lottery when Dickerson arrived at Kansas, as he was clearly the best big man transfer that anyone would have imagined, and yet Kansas lost a first round NCAA game as much a result of his 4 turnovers, 4 fouls and 4-13 shooting exhibition. Conversely a 6'11" Aidoo scored 22 points and committed only 1 turnover in 39 minutes for Arkansas; this from a guy who was averaging under 7 points a game coming into the contest, but humiliated Dickerson.

The moral of the story here is that some of these portal transfers can be over-rated and others can be under-rated.
