Was up 6-0 heading into the 4th, until McClure gave up a hit, a walk, a hit batter, then a grandslam to a kid who has hit a total of 2 HRs all year. 6-4 as Louisville comes to bat in the bottom of the 4th.

Game tied at 6 in the bottom of the 6th. Same guy who hit grandslam drives in 2 more.

I was reading:)....and watching.Nice win against a truly hungry team.A few lineup changes maybe fueling the spark in the bats?

Stay tuned...

I still say we've got veterans that have to lead the way.LT and CL fit that bill.Taylor's defensive gem in the 6th(?) is what I'm talking about.Rarely do we see defensive plays do that.Top 10 play for sure.

Gotta be blazin out there wearing black on black. Hope that heat carries over to their bats! Go Cards!!!

Nice to see the team wearing the Ali butterfly on their hats in honor of the 1 year anniversary of his passing.

Agreed, also liked the mention of Louisville being the first to have a Heisman and a Golden Spikes winner in the same year, if McKay wins it this year.

Did I just hear the announcer for the UofL game right; UK is the only SEC team in history to not ever make the CWS? Did not realize that.

And just like that,Taylor has the biggest hit of the season ...to date.
I was praying for him to bust out right there and then.Absolutely wonderful to see and I think he spurs not only himself on,but the rest as well.:D

I was nervous though when he tried to bunt and then almost popped out. Great to see him come back and hit that laser to left center. Like you said that woke up our offense.

Yeah, they had a suicide squeeze in motion and the pitch was way outside. He had to get the bat on it somehow or Lyman was a sitting duck.We were fortunate he didn't pop out for sure, but he made a nice play with the bat.
Speaking of Lyman, the young man is flying under the radar with the season he's having. He's really stroking it right now. These 2 guys are keys going forward.SENIORS!!

Louisville plays tonight when NBA comes on at 8pm est.

Either be Xavier or Oklahoma. Both Louisville should beat pretty easily.

Oklahoma wont pitch Irvin, no way he pitches tonight and their bullpen is horrible. Absolutley horrible. I thin Xavier might beat Oklahoma as they are playing right now.

I'll be watching the NBA mostly just because I think Louisville will/should blow either team out tonight........again.
Good for you! And I'd prefer to see NBA topics on the Red Head Board since they're OT here...
