I always like it when they select and pair teams up for the basketball tournament and they always say the teams were selected and placed based on their won-loss record and strength of schedule. When we all know that’s not true, they are selected and placed by the network to create more interest for more viewers. The selection committee look like fools when they use that trademark explanation.
There is projected to be 8 ACC teams in the tournament so at least one of those teams will be in our bracket. I could see them having us in the same bracket with either VaTech or ND. I could also see them putting us in the same bracket with Mississippi State or Indiana. One because we are geographically close and the other because a former assistant and players are now at MSU.
I hope we are placed in the East or Midwest region. If not then the West region but I don’t want to be in the Southeast region. The Southeast region will probably be the toughest with South Carolina as the #1 seed.
