Am I seeing tv coverage right? ESPN +

Do we know our starter yet?
Welcome back to the Dance Cards.

Yeah, I just got a one month subscription for 11.99. Agree, looks like ESPN has a stranglehold on this one.
Looks like 80% of the Regionals are on ESPN+. College baseball really needs to up it's media presence.

ESPNU has UK, ACC has North Carolina and SEC has Georgia. That's probably more coverage than in the past, its just that we are not part of it...

Just nothing on either of the Xtra networks for either. Didn't even check the B10.

I'm confused. I already subscribe to ESPN+, have been watching games on it all season. I log on and now they want me to sign up for an additional plan for $11.99? I guess I'm listening to Moth.

Yep, 3 walks now. 1 hit batter. 2 wild pitches.
Shit. Plus - he is already at ~55 pitches.

How da hell Forbes is a projected 32-35 MLB draft pick? The 7 S/O is misleading. ETSU swinging at everything.

Because he's an easy 95-97 mph thrower. Even if they don't project him as a starter, he definitely has the stuff to be a back end guy. Starters rarely go beyond 5 innings any more.

Fundamental baseball, never make the first out a 3rd base. We do it all the time. We have all the momentum. No need to be that aggressive there.!

Great job Patrick!!

Another righty Cutts against this righty dominated lineup. Let's go Cutts!

I have had that problem before. Sign out and sign back in. It's a pain but may solve your problem.

Forbes a little shaky early but finished strong.. All in all pretty solid game. Lets keep it going !!

Needless to say, we just won't get very far without better starters. Next man up. Mac's already said it's either Biven or Eberle. Let's do this!!

Must say I am very happy to eat crow regarding EKjr. I was done with him early on because he was just went up to the plate hacking at the ball. Once he came back from his injury abd settled in he started being a solid batter - not a hacker. The greatly improved approach at the plate has made him our most dangerous guy in the lineup (IMO).

In truth Bardman, you are in good company here; as most of us have expressed our sincere disappointment at one time or another this season with individual players, specific aspects of this team as well as low tournament expectations. Yesterday was another example of how this team can turn itself around on occasion. I am very proud of UL Baseball right now, and hoping for another good effort tonight.

One observation; I witnessed something that I have not seen before that could have made the difference between Vandy surviving yesterday, or finding itself in the loser’s bracket. While I believe the Vandy 2 run homer was likely a fair ball; Wright State was the victim of a very strange decision by the umpires ; specifically when the one umpire immediately called the ball foul, before the other umpires congregating together to change the call to fair, prior to a subsequent review. It was almost like they knew that whatever was called before the review, would be very difficult to overturn on review.

Again, it appeared it was a fair ball for a HR; but I do not recall ever witnessing the umpire meeting privately to over-rule the call on the field, particularly knowing it was going to be officially reviewed as the Vandy player immediately requested the official review. Beating Vanderbilt at home is not an easy task, even without the assistance of an umpire crew.

Some interesting scores from last night/yesterday:

St. Mary's 6
[8] Oregon St. 4

Murray St. 9
[10] Ole Miss. 6

Utah Valley 6
[12] Oregon 5

East Carolina 11
Florida 6

Cincy 11
Wake 6

WVU 4
UK 3

Stetson 11
NCSU 2
