I just got some scoop on a few Louisville targets...
Here it goes.
I was told that Louisville and Indiana are the schools to beat for Aminu Muhammed as of now. Pittsburgh has entered the picture, and is making a push.
The source said that the Muhammed camp is treating Louisville the same as any other school, regardless of the NOA. They are taking the approach that there hasn't been a ruling, so there's no reason to look at Louisville differently.
Efton Reid remains wide open, but is blowing up. North Carolina and Kansas are keeping close tabs on Reid, and Virginia and Ohio State remain heavily involved.
A recent offer for Louisville, Hawkins plays for Dematha, the same high school Pegues attended. Hawkins loves the idea of playing in the ACC, but as things stand right now, Seton Hall is considered the favorite.
A dark-horse prospect that is VERY high on Louisville is Quincy Allen. Allen spoke with a Louisville assistant last Thursday, and the Cardinals are a major player in his recruitment. If an offer comes, look out.
Another prospect from the DMV area, where Louisville is looking to establish a pipeline.
