The best we can hope for as a conference is a 1 loss Clemson team, ranked highly, versus an undefeated Miami team, also ranked highly, in the ACC Championship game. This would easily allow one ACC team in the playoff, and depending on how other leagues shake out, an outside shot at 2 teams in.
