- Missed tackles and turnovers in critical situations many of which were by seniors
- 110 in the country in yards given up per play

I disagree they are a average team that is soft mentally. Play good competition that lack of mental toughness will get you every time.

Splitting hairs with semantics if they are average they win 6 I'm not sure where those 6 wins come from. Losing more games than you win isn't average but again it doesn't matter debating something like that. We can just agree to disagree on our definitions of average.

There is real potential the season goes off the rails to not being close to average also, which would be pretty sad.

Regardless I will hope for a win each week. We'll find out not soon enough.

I agree doesn’t matter how you lose it is a loss. When you have seniors playing as poorly as they have played in conference games you are right it can go south quick. I think it is very possible.

There is a play on Twitter where you can clearly see 4 seniors using terrible technique and effort that led to the go ahead TD. Not sure how you win games when veteran players breakdown that often on defense.

I will be there next week too.

So, those of us who were hoping (wishing…praying….dreaming) of a 7-8 win season can just eat it!!! All summer we were champing at the bit, buying into the illusion that things were gonna be better this time around only to have the season effectively end by week three. I, for one, have swallowed enough snake oil to last me a lifetime!
