That’s because most of them are chargesSomething needs to be done with the officiating with all the charges they call. It's nowhere near any balance with a blocking foul.
Looks to me most of the time no one is sure when there's contact, so the default is a offensive charge foul.
It's ridiculous. Jay Bilas has been on it for years but it's getting worse.
Hope you had a great time. Crowd sounded energetic and loud.I’m going to the game. I’m a glutton for punishment.
Good callOkay, I'm going for the shocker.
Louisville 71
WKU 69
I've been thinking (why, I don't know) that when the Cards do get their first W it may be in a game no one expects it to be. WKU finds themselves favored by 8 at the Yum center. It's got to be pretty surreal for these opposing teams when they see how badly UofL has fallen.
Eventually, one of these opponents are going to just expect that Louisville can't win and not be prepared for a Cards team that finally finds some confidence.
I say it could be tonight. I don't expect the Cards to be blown out but a one point loss would be just as bad.
I have to admit though, another blowout loss and they will start putting people in the lifeboats.
It was great! Wonderful time with my daughter who just wrapped up her semester.Hope you had a great time. Crowd sounded energetic and loud.
No they're not. Not even close. That’s because most of them are charges
When did you play ball the 40’s? You do know now the defensive player can be moving a draw a charge don’t you? Bilas is a crybaby, who pick one thing and rants on it for a season, doesn’t make it right though. No they're not. Not even close.
I agree with just about everything you said. I noticed Manning being more vocal with KP and the players last night as well.WKU had an 8-1 record, not bad, but they really hadn’t beaten anyone either. But, I don’t want to think we played as well as we did just because we played a bad team.
The guys played with great energy and looked like they were having fun.
Danny Manning was much more involved last night including being right in KP’s ear during a late game timeout. He was also doing a lot more one on one coaching during time outs.
We shot over 50% for the game and from the three. This can be fools gold. Those shots won’t fall every night. Will the improved energy continue when we don’t shoot well?
Our assist to turnover ration was finally on the right side yet El keeps making unforced errors. That needs to improve.
We got out rebounded but that can happen when you shoot a good percentage.
So, what changed last night? Players finally unleashed and allowed to play? Better coaching? Both? Can’t say that I know but want to see if it continues. Just hoping this continues for the next two games so the guys get some confidence up going into ACC play.
Go Cards!
