They have no understanding how to play the pick and roll torched them all night. It isn't the concept it is the execution. They tried switching, going underneath and hard hedging none of it worked.

I will say it now they aren't making the tournament. They just don't have the speed at the guard position to defend ACC guards. The bigs aren't good defenders and Nwora plays defense 10 percent of the time.

Pretty bad. Nwora is so lazy and slow defensively sometimes. Sutton is the only player that gives it 100 the whole game. I love Cunningham too, but he’s undersized just like McMahon. Idk, I think we’re a bubble team after this loss. Gotta steal one at UNC.

Sutton was MIA against the slapd!cks. Too many guys are now MIA consistently or here one game and gone the next. This team has enough talent to beat most teams when they play as a unit. When they try to get theirs and play hero ball, they're average.

Both Pitt big men fouled out and we haven’t gone inside one, single time. Enoch eating them alive and doesn’t touch the ball.

Instead we get 3-Happy. Had their bigs on the bench and do not take advantage. The worst display I have seen in a while at crunch time. If Pitt had hit a reasonable amount of FTs it would been a blowout.

They aren't extremely talented so their marginal for error is very small even against PItt. He really doesn't have the guards to play his defensive system which will never be as good as Pitino's anyway. They have to play together on both ends of the court.

Like any team in college basketball everyone looks great on offense when the ball goes in, but I think with this team it is fools gold. McMahon and Nwora takes shots that aren't in the flow of the offense when they start going in like against Miami they are world beaters when they stop going in they can lose to anyone. You can throw Williams and Perry in that mix too. CC, Sutton, and Enoch use the offense to get good shots everyone else is "out to get theirs" which is a shooters mentality.

It is what it is. Yes,it was ugly at times,but my hats off for not chucking it in with the effort. These guys won't quit.It's a very admirable quality.

Tbs,it was not our night. It was their night. It's the only way I can see us coming back from 2 separate double digit deficits and still losing that game. I'd still take those 2 looks that McMahon had late in overtime.Drop one of those and the narrative here changes.

I'm with Zipp though. Keep working at your deficiencies and play as a unit. It's how you overcome your shortcomings.

It still is a tough place to play. The students are right there on the floor (the way it should be), and they get loud.

This game got away from the Cards because of turnovers. A lot of those were unforced. Pitt did their part by missing a ton of free throws but the Cards missed open jump shots and turned the ball over too much to win the game.

Turnovers, couldnt stop their guards from layups and we didnt go to Enoch in OT and their tallest player was 6'6! The last one baffles me and the first time I have questioned CCM's gameplan. At the end of the day, *&^$% happens. UNC on Saturday.....GO CARDS!

Nwora played an absolutely awful game and should have been benched. His defensive effort is the worst on the team.
