Louisville vs Duke

All of these conference tournament games they are letting them play. I don’t know if that would be to our advantage or not.

I missed almost all of the first quarter because of the lacrosse game. The little that I did see we look way out of rhythm.

This is really an ugly game we are down by 7 but if Duke wasn’t playing as bad as we are we would be down by a lot more. I don’t think we will go very far in the NCAA tournament but the freshmen will get a lot of experience.

They said it was the fewest points we have scored all year in the first half. I think it is the fewest points we have ever scored in the first half in our history.

We are doing everything wrong no weak side help, no rebounding at either end, bad passes and getting out hustled at both ends.

I think they have called one or two fouls on Duke. We need to start taking some mid range shots. We are driving to deep trying to go 1 on 3 and we aren’t hitting anything from deep.

I think CJW knows we won’t win this game so he is leaving the freshmen in. Before the end of the quarter we had 4 freshmen and Cochran.

I agree we look bad in every aspect of the game but that is because we have 4 freshmen in most of the game. We have no outside threat so Duke is just packing it in.

I know we still won’t win this but we just cut a 20 point Duke lead down to 9.

We don’t need bad referee’s to hurt us but they are.

It’s hard to believe as aggressive as Duke is they aren’t called for more fouls. The last foul on Cochran was really bad.

When Duke gets in trouble they throw the ball at our legs and the ref calls it a kick. We need to start doing that if it is legal.

I sure hope Russel and Curry can heal up with a more that a week off. We won’t make it past the first round without them. Last night the gutted it out against a lesser opponent. Tonight they didn’t have the horses to play against a better team.

We won the 2nd half but we lost the 1st half so badly it didn’t matter. I guess the good thing was they didn’t quit. I also hope we get Curry and Russell back before the tournament.

Oh, I was there. This was worse. However, I was very pleased to see them fight back. Randolph - starting to find her way. Ilsa - she must improve her footwork, hand and confidence- BUT - she can make an impact to this team moving forward. Go look at DeBeers from Oklahoma. Ilsa is a similar type of player.

Seldom do I have zero expectations for a win, but I must confess that when it was evident that Jada and Merissah were not going to be 100% healthy and playing, I knew we had little chance of winning.

Losing to Duke is no shame, evidenced by the manner in which they beat ND, specifically with the same level of defense that made us look so ineffective offensively.

NCST, Duke, UNC and FSU are quite capable of beating ND on any given night, particularly in a neutral site. Unfortunately, we are not there this season. I totally expect the ACC to give a very strong account of themselves in the NCAA.
