Louisville vs Duke game thread

Just a few criticism on Trey Lewis tonight that may shed some light on why he's struggling. He is missing an arc on his jumper. He also need to push the pace when he has the ball so he can take advantage of the other teams defense not being set. We were down by 5 and had 30 seconds at the end of the game and he still took his time with getting the ball up the floor. Several times tonight, he lost the ball trying to dribble it among the trees inside resulting in turnovers. Some of those were key momentum changing possessions.
No doubt some additional arc would be beneficial to Trey's jumper but, I honestly think it boils down to the fact that he is still learning to play the 1. A chance to play the 1 at a high major is part of the reason that he came to UofL but the reality is that he's been a 2 his entire career and it shows in his handle going to the hoop against better competition. He'll get there but at this point, the ball is much better off in Q's hands in crucial situations.

Quentin Snider said they "missed itty bitty close shots and free throws." That would have won it.

Not sure why you responded to my post as it had nothing to do with why UofL lost last night. I'll just chalk it up to more of the same type of confusion that leads you to post some of the things that you do. For the record, there are a multitude of factors that one could to point to as contributing factors in wins and losses - no one play or one stat line ever won or lost a game.

Lol - who's changing facts? The person who says that there are many factors that contribute to wins and losses not just to missed free throws or, the person who points to 60s drug use for every negative occurrence up to and including, yesterday's snow fall...

Senore would agree with you on that.
