LOUISVILLE VS CLEMSON GAME THREAD

Two RZ touchdowns. There’s hope yet!!

I think it's been very clear Louisville was the more prepared team tonight. Clemson’s weak schedule is most likely the reason. Cards players knew they had to be buttoned up to win and Clemson’s players figured they were already buttoned up because of their recent stretch of blowout wins.

Hopefully, we hang on and get this Clemson monkey off our back?
Those two blocked field goals are huge

We need to score every possession.

Don’t play not to lose.

Stay aggressive
Brohm definitely wanted to run clock there and was upset Shough didn't throw the ball earlier instead of throwing it away, stopping the clock.

He probably told him we didn't need a big play there or even a first down. Just complete a short pass and run the clock.

Another FG instead of a TD because Brohm is afraid of the 4th and 1 and you can't blame him. Almost every team today goes for it on 4th and 1 near the red zone and had we had any success with it, Brohm would have went for it.
Ya I was so glad he took the points. You're in the lead in DEATH VALLEY, so ya just take the points, don't get cute. It helped make it a 3 score game so thank goodness.

What was that thing on the camera, the Clemson fan, a blue eyed chick with a beard and earrings?? Haha must be an average Clemson fan

Lol they didn't even try for 2. So now they HAVE to get two touchdowns instead of a touchdown a 2pt conversion and then a field goal. They down 12, instead of 11

It looked to me that Dabo conceded the game after that 2nd blocked FG. He knew his guys just weren't mentally prepared for what Louisville was bringing, so he let them bask in their ineptitude.

There was no urgency down three scores and the fans definitely took notice.

Cards broke them. All of them. Clemson succumbed to the dominance.

I haven't watched enough Clemson games to know if Dabo truly understands parts of coaching. Clearly he doesn't understand the value in the portal, and now there's legit questions as to if he understands math and clock management.

Good. F 'em.

I have a question for you guys. Was our O-line really as banged up as the announcers kept saying? That is all they kept saying the whole game. Plus I like how they tried to say they illegally chop blocked that Clemson DT , but then the official guy on commentary said that what they did was perfectly legal and within the rules.

What got me were the announcers, who kept lamenting that Clemson was just “off”, and that this was a bad game for Klubnick. Zero credit to the team they faced.
As regards Dabo, he didn’t go for two when it would have meant they needed a TD (plus another 2 pt conversion) and an FG to tie. But if he doesn’t get it, he needs 2 TD. However, given the two blocked FG attempts, he may have decided it was actually a higher percentage play to get two TD. Who knows? But Brown’s TD made it all academic.

OL was definitely limited depth wise due to injuries.
