I went to their board to razz them for the half capacity crowd today, and losing at home opener to an at best middle of the back PAC 12 team. Asked why they were a state flagship school that couldn't support their football any better than that. BANNED

Guess they don't like truthful questions on that board.

Oh so someone should be banned for asking why a state flagship schools stadium is only half full on opening day? LOL. We may have had more people in Indy tonight than they had at home.

No, someone should be banned for rubbing their noses in the mess that is UNC football. And, let me assure you that I think any Clemson fan who behaves like you did should be banned also. And, I wish they would go pull for another school because I don't want them representing Clemson anywhere at anytime.

Maybe you should concern yourself with your own team who almost lost to a bottom tier Big 10 team.

Well then I apologize to all the snowflakes, regardless of boards.............

You're the one that created a thread complaining about being banned for trolling - and you're calling other people snowflakes? A non snowflake would having taken his banning without feeling the need to rally support to make themselves feel better.

Lulz...

You confuse complaining with laughing my friend. Note the first word in the headline of the thread................

I don't understand the need for someone to go to another teams board with the only intention to harass their fan base. So you got banned? My question is why do you have the need to do that? That wasn't a question wanting a response you were just poking them. Just stupid. Especially with all the crap going on in our house.

When slappies come over here to"razz" us for losing to them (or anybody else) or OUR OWN less than stellar attendance at some games, we want them banned.

Difference is we won't.

We better beat UNC because you've invited tons of trolls if we don't.

Really dude!? Wtfuh is the point? Lame -Glad they banned you. What were you expecting roses and a bottle of bourbon? Our University has enough of its own PR problems no need to stir up shiznit on another teams board.

I expected to point out to them that they are a state flagship school. It's opening day, and you're playing against a mid level PAC 10 school. With all of this, your stadium is at least half empty. I think it's pathetic.

Any more questions?

I'd venture they already know what you felt obliged to tell them.

Therefore, who's ignorant?

It's a good thing you were there to point those things out. Otherwise they may have been left in the dark and unaware of their situation. Do you always take the "Morgan Freeman" (South Park) approach? Did you earn a freckle?

I don't understand going to other boards, even when being polite. However, going to one to stir it up is plain old stupid and a serious waste of time.

Dog pile on Kratz. I'm fine with that. However, keep in mind that I didn't insult the players or the program. I asked why a state flag ship school only had half capacity on opening day against a P-5 program? Was I completely polite when I asked the question? No. Does that make the question any less legitimate? I say no.

So call me a troll if you wish, but I think my questions were legitimate. How mad would we be if the Purdue game were here, on regional TV and we had a less than half full house? Our own fans would be clamoring over it, not taking it non chalantly.

Ok.

So, if this had happened, would we need somebody from PUrdue coming over here to tell us what we already know?

We'd call him a troll.

That picture of a truck crashing through a trailer is befitting of what you did. "I went over to the UNC board to razz them" Apparently you thought most would be supportive of this action but low and behold, most of us are not. Why don't we just let this thread alone and fade away to be forgotten, instead of you trying to justify it?

The problem is your motive. You knew what the response would be before you posted. And there was no point in the question in the first place. Since when did UofL fans become the attendance police for our conference? It's none of our business. Our board has been reading too much garbage from cat fans about attendance for waaaay too long.

There were fans on another board complaining that we would "only" be taking 20,000 fans to Indy. Only? Really? On a holiday weekend when a whole lot of our fans have places on lakes in the surrounding areas and this its usually the last hurrah weekend to go? We're in a good spot for an up-and-coming program. Enjoy it, and let other programs worry about what their expectations are for their own program. It's not for us to judge and just makes us look bad.

However, keep in mind that I didn't insult the players or the program. I asked why a state flag ship school only had half capacity on opening day against a P-5 program?

Asking that question is insulting the program.

Dog pile on Kratz.

Ok, so you go to another board to pile on them, yet complain when other posters pile on you. Let that sink in for a minute.

I absolutely have relished posting on other teams' boards. There is some ego involved for those game enough to try it. First of all, don't think for a minute you are not representing our team and University. Because nearly everyone feels so reluctant to visit these boards, you end up being a rare enough sight. Therefore, attention out the butt will be paid to every syllable you whistle, no matter where you post. On one hand it is a great opportunity to show your appreciation - or curiosity - for their teams, on the other, done poorly, we all suffer because humans these days are hyper critical. The other thing is this: prepare to be ignored, lol. People's habit's don't much include being classy to opponents. If you cannot engage them in positive mutuality - and make that clear!! - then chances are you'd be best off not bothering.

The most direct approach to the human heart requires humility. And the human heart is what we all need most. Shared, it can be a wonderfully productive experience. Even opponents and rivals know the Math: Pleasure shared is pleasure doubled. A little praise goes a long dam way.

No sweat. My biceps aren't what they once were, but, sure, I dig them - they're mine for Pete Sakes. Common sense and reasonable manners don't require back up.

Interesting thread.

I have always liked Louisville and the fan base. Anyone who has to deal with those idiots from UK on a regular basis is alright by me.

And to answer the original question, we aren't the best fan base for attendance and definitely not for noon games against opponents with whom there is little to no familiarity.

We have way too many idiots from other schools posting to get upset with the Cards fanbase.

You guys are welcome on our Boards anytime because you've earned the right as decent sports fans and posters. Our Mods just get tired the occasional fool that oversteps the rep of his betters. :)

I'm sorry I ever said anything. Defending divisional champs, state flagship school. Your crowd today sure proved I was wrong. I'm not talking about the school, the team, the coaching staff etc. I've always been talking about the fan support. You have none. Period. If that makes me a troll, so be it. Tell all your friends on the UNC board "I told you so". Only thing I had wrong is I predicted 400 yards and 4 tds for Lamar. So he had 500 yards and 5 TDs. My bad on that one. A school like yours should have tremendous, massive fan support regardless of the opponent. You had a ranked conference opponent today and had what? 60-70% capacity at best? You're the home of Lawrence Taylor for Gods sake. Act like you care about football. If that game would have been in Louisville today it would have been a sell out and the place would have been rocking. The fan base embarrasses the school and program.

I remember not too long ago a certain coach for a particular school who blasted his fanbase for not getting their butts into their seats before kickoff. Tarheels have always been a wine and cheese crowd...

I remember agreeing with that coach completely. Never been a problem for me though. I'm usually in my seat an hour early, I like watching warmups and occassionally messing with players from the other team. Kept offering Dalvin Cook a shot out of the flask last year. ;)

You do realize that the city of Louisville has a population of 1.3 million & Chapel Hill is 59,000.
That does play a big role in UL selling out games.

You also brought up the academic scandal in the thread you're talking about. That played a role in you getting banned.
