You do realize that the city of Louisville has a population of 1.3 million & Chapel Hill is 59,000.
That does play a big role in UL selling out games.
You also brought up the academic scandal in the thread you're talking about. That played a role in you getting banned.
Seems you read and remember the thread. Good. Then you'll remember that Yes, I brought up the scandal AFTER posters attacked Petrino and Pitino on multiple occasions. Glass houses, you know how that goes.
I've been to UNC. Seen the Dean Dome, Keenan Stadium, seen the area, been to Raleigh, etc. Raleigh is what, an hour or so away? Saying Chapel hill only has X number or people is a cop out. How many residents does Clemson SC have? How about Auburn Alabama? Neither is a state flag ship school and are in smaller towns, but can put 85,000 in the stadium every game. How big is Starkville Mississippi? Hell, Stillwater Oklahoma? The list goes on and on. None of those are state flagship schools but they have bigger and better attendance.
As a fan of a school that fought so hard and so long to get into a respectable conference, it really bothers me to see schools like UNC (and many other) that have always had that luxury and don't care. They simply take the money, take it for granted, half fill their stadiums and call it a good day. You want to hear some really sad truth? Right now UK cares more about football than UNC does. Sad but true. They'll have better attendance at their games than UNC will theirs this year.
