The FBI and IRS agree to enter into a consent decree that will allow any individual who received illicit money related to college sports teams to receive complete immunity from criminal prosecution and tax liability for any money received within the last 10 years under the prerequisite that disclose those involved in transactions, the amounts involved and the purpose for the payments. This would be a one-time offer that will allow persons to avoid prosecution, but they will have to come clean or risk future jail time and fines. It would interesting how many people would come out of the woodwork to claim their indemnification.
