University of Louisville women's lacrosse got a road win with a 19-10 victory at Niagara on Monday afternoon.

With the win, Louisville improves to 7-9 on the season, while Niagara moves to 9-6.

The Cards trailed 1-0 early, but goals from Caroline Blalock and Allegra Catalano put the Cards on top with 8:23 remaining in the first quarter.

Louisville and Niagara traded goals deep into the first half until Blalock scored on a free position shot to tie the score 5-5 and kick off a 4-0 run to end the half and send the Cardinals into the locker room with an 8-5 lead.

UofL's offense came out strong in the third quarter adding five more goals to go on a 9-0 run to take a 13-5 lead with 8:36 left in the third quarter.

The Cardinals would put together one final four-goal scoring run to seal the game and take a 19-10 victory in their final road contest of the 2022 regular season.

Blalock led the Cards with a career-high seven goals, putting her in a tie for fourth all-time in a game goals scored in program history. The last player to score seven goals was Louisville assistant coach Kay Morissette on March 4, 2015.

The Cards complete the regular season by hosting Notre Dame Saturday at noon over at Cardinal Stadium. UofL will be looking for their second win over ACC competition in the match and try to climb to fifth place in the conference standings. The match will be shown on the ACC Network. Admission is free for Louisville Lacrosse.
