University of Louisville women's lacrosse used an aggressive offensive assault to pick up its first win of the season, an 18-9 victory over Marquette at UofL Lacrosse Stadium Friday afternoon.
With the win, the Cardinals move to 1-2 on the season as the Golden Eagles fall to 1-2.
The Cards jumped out to a quick 6-1 lead and never looked back. UofL went into the half with a 12-6 lead
Hannah Morris had a team-high four goals with one assist. Kokoro Nakazawa was second on the team with three goals, and Caroline Blalock, Nicole Perroni, Allegra Catalano and Paige Richbourge finished with two goals each.
