Please help me if I am missing something, but isn't it more impressive that Lamar threw for over 4,000 yards when Baltimore also had the top rushing offense in the NFL? He threw for more yards than Josh Allen, with a much higher QB passer rating on a Bills team that ran a 1,000 yards less that Baltimore. While Burrow is a great QB, the Bengals have the 28th-ranked rushing offense. All the Bengals do is throw the ball.
They argue that Lamar only had a great year because of Henry. I would argue that it's even more impressive that he put up those numbers sharing the field with a guy that ran for over 1,900 yards.
I absolutely hate sports statistics, so can you all give me an example of a QB that shared a MVP-caliber season with a 119 QB rating, 4K yards, 40 passing TDs, with only 4 interceptions with a rusher that ran for over 1,900 yds and 16 TDs?
