Lamar Jackson, sleeper Heisman candidate.

He needs better accuracy on his passes, but if he improves that aspect of his game then he will be 100% unstoppable. His footwork, quickness and athletic ability saved him (and the Cards) last year when he became basically one dimensional by throwing inaccurate passes. Of course the O-line breaking down had a lot to do with the poor passes too because he was constantly under pressure.

If the O-line improves, the offense improves with Jackson leading the charge. 100% confident about that.

Jackson really came off as a team guy last year from the outsider's view. A player with lesser character could have caused some friction with the musical chair situation we had @ QB last year, but it didn't feel like that happened. Chemistry was not a problem.

What I'm getting at is a big part of Jackson's progression will involve the mental game between the ears, and from what he's shown so far, he's in real good shape there. He's getting a lot of hype, and he's got to stay hungry, grounded, and confident all @ the same time.

We know the LBs are going to be the leaders of the defense this year. It sure looks like Jackson is going to be the leader of the offense - and that would be ideal.
