Like all of you I have read all the pros and cons of Kenny Payne becoming our coach. I have made it clear that with Junior and Wades backing I am on board. My first reaction was that there were questions about Kenny's X's and O's ability and that is true and will continue to be true until he proves himself. But does it really matter? Have you watched Auburn play? I have never believed that Bruce Pearl was a good coach, but he can recruit. That's what it takes in this day and age. Can John Caliperi coach? Not in my opinion. But he is near the top almost every year. The fact that he doesn't win national titles with his players is proof of his inability. I believe Kenny Payne will be a great recruiter. Just bring in good players and get us near the top every year. That's good enough for me.
