IMO, the D looked suspect up the middle. I hope it was an anomaly and not a vision of what is to come.

Murray had 107 yards rushing with a net of 94. QB scrambles accounted for 36 of those yards. Defensive adjustments against IU's running game is what will be important.IMO, the D looked suspect up the middle. I hope it was an anomaly and not a vision of what is to come.
You think it's just a timing thing that straightens itself out or...UL was subbing a lot of guys in right from the get go. So i didn't take much at all away from the MSU game.
My biggest concern is Plummer.
I think he had first game jitters. Last season at Cal he didn't have the pressure to win as expectations at Berkeley weren't anything like it is here at UofL.You think it's just a timing thing that straightens itself out or...
Disagree on the 2nd. Threw the ball too late and that has to be closer to the sideline where his guy catches it or no one.I think he had first game jitters. Last season at Cal he didn't have the pressure to win as expectations at Berkeley weren't anything like it is here at UofL.
Two of his INT's are not a reflection of bad throws. One was a hail Mary and the other was a tremendous play by the Murray DB, who looked like Jaire Alexander on that interception. The Cards receiver was right there for the catch. The pass was not underthrown at all. The DB just made an all pro play.
Decision making is still hard to know with just one competitive game so far. I think he has the arm and accuracy to be an all conference caliber QB, it's just his decision making that is yet to be truly tested.
I believe that may have been the issue at Purdue though I'm not for sure.
Sometimes you have to tip your hat to the opponent. I've watched that replay a dozen times and the ball would have fell right into the receivers hands without missing a step. The DB just made a great play.Disagree on the 2nd. Threw the ball too late and that has to be closer to the sideline where his guy catches it or no one.
You mean the bend but don't break philosophy.... I hate that defense!0 points.
I'm not really sure. To me, he does not look confident when he is in the pocket. And he seems like he lobs the ball. Sometimes you need to throw a ball with some touch on it, but others you need to burn it in there. I have heard JB say on multiple occasions JP needs to get off his back foot and rip it.You think it's just a timing thing that straightens itself out or...
